NC Firefighter Certification NC Emergency Medical Technician Certification Hazardous Materials Operations Level NC Class B Driver’s License or obtained within 6 months Completion of a High School Diploma or Equivalent 6 Months of Fire Service Experience  Work in this position is heavy work. Employees must be in excellent physical condition. An employee must have close visual acuity as to be able to read and write handwritten and typed material, operate computer terminals, visually inspect parts, use measurement devices and operate machines. An employee in this class must be able to talk and hear in order to be able to respond to the public and other employees. Vacant position will be open for 30 days, closing on Aug 24, 2025.
