Assistant Town Manager

Assistant Town Manager – Town of Haw River, NC pop 2,300.  A Town located in Alamance County, NC.  Position that involves assisting manager in planning, project management, budgeting, organizing, assigning and directing personnel assigned to multiple departmental programs of the Town and other duties as assigned by the Town Manager. Ideal candidate will possess strong working knowledge of administration, finance, parks and recreation, planning, police, public works, and fire/rescue services.  Successful candidate will be a skilled professional with a strong administrative and mgmt. background, strong interpersonal skills, impeccable integrity, a record of ethical conduct, and will possess the ability to provide effective leadership.  Requires a BA in Public Administration, civil engineering, urban, regional planning, or related field plus three years experience as senior level department head or assistant manager or any equiv. comb. of training & exp. which provides the req'd knowledge, skills, & abilities.
